Inspired by Byzantine-era damask weaving, this 6.5-inch Damask canapé plate features a reversible pattern rendered in layered metal leaf and pigment. Each piece is individually hand-spun, then meticulously decorated using patina paint, silver, gold, or copper leaf, and organic pigments. Heat-cured and sealed for lasting durability. From metal application to final lacquer, every plate requires hours of detailed craftsmanship, resulting in subtle depth and luminous texture unique to each piece.
